Meet-Ups Our goal is to celebrate Westchester's diverse community of LGBTQ residents and to encourage a sense of coalition and community--because there is strength and support in numbers! To that end, we're organizing a whole slew of different meet-ups at Westchester Pride. These are meant to be casual get-togethers for like-minded people to stimulate new friendships and develop stronger connections.
Each meet-up will have a Host or Hostess who will greet you, make you feel welcome, and introduce you to others at the meet-up. Then, the group may take a ride on one of Playland's fantastic amusements--but if you don't feel like riding (or don't have a rider wristband) then you're free to keep talking and having fun!
Meet-ups are scheduled to last anywhere from half an hour to an hour, but it all depends on the group dynamics. And if you'd like to volunteer to become a Meet-Up Host or Hostess, please contact us! More info coming soon!
